The Lincoln Art Center Opening Reception for "Prairie Trilogy" will be Friday, March 17, 2006 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Prairie Trilogy, features three artists, this exhibit will be at the Lincoln Art Center March 8 through April 30. A reception for the artists will be held Friday, March 17 from 5-7:00 pm. Cher Heller-Olson, Cawker City, Gary Ozias, Downs, and Kent Thompson, Osborne, will exhibit oil, watercolor, pastel paintings and raku pottery.
Cher Heller-Olson’s work has been featured on "Kansas Arts Today", and has exhibited in several regional galleries including the Bluestem in Salina. Ozias has had work accepted in numerous juried exhibitions including "National Arts for the Parks Mini 100" and the 2006 Richardson Award in the "Alabama Pastel Society National Exhibit". Thompson has exhibited his award winning raku pottery throughout the Midwest and in various galleries. His most recent work is a series of abstract sculpture expressing the spirit of living in rural Kansas.
