Lincoln Art Center

Since 1993 - Developing art appreciation & continuing education in the arts for the rural community
Hours:  Tues - Fri Noon to 4 and Sat 10 to 1 or by appointment.

EXHIBITIONS
The main gallery hosts exhibitions by local, state & regional artists.  National & exhibits of interest are scheduled as available.  Formal openings feature gallery walks with the artists and are free and open to the public.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
The Lincoln Art Center participates in community projects including the Post Rock Festival, Lincoln Days and Finch Theatre events.  We also work closely with other municipalities in cooperative art projects.

CLASSES
Highly popular art classes for children and adults are presented throughout the year.  Students take advantage of instruction in collage, painting, photography, printmaking, drawing, writing and numerous other disciplines.

PUBLIC ART COLLECTION
The Lincoln Arts and Humanities Foundation initiated the public art collection in 1986.  A new work is added each year.  The collection is exhibited in the gallery on rotating basis.

GIFT GALLERY
Our gift gallery features the work of artists and craftsmen from throughout the Midwest.  You will find hundreds of hand-made, one-of-a-kind times for sale at modest prices.  By choosing your gifts from the Lincoln Art Center, you support the arts in the community and delight your special friends and relatives with creative, lovely and unique works of art.
